Dinner Rolls

CATHARINE DANIELS

1 1/2 cup water

2 tablespoons yeast

1 cup milk (or buttermilk) + 1/2 teaspoon soda

1/3 cup oil

2 eggs

1/3 cup sugar

1 1/2 teaspoons salt

6 to 8 cups flour

Add all the ingredients except flour. Slowly add the flour until the dough comes cleanly away from the sides of the bowl. Knead, let rise for one hour, roll out into desired roll shape, let rise again for one hour, bake at 375° degrees for 15 minutes.
